61883 Class Bus Device issue AKA FireWire Camcorder DOES NOT WORK!!!

Hi, whooo this has been a long time since I have posted a blog. Anyways, have you ever connected a camera through firewire, Windows detects it, but there is no way that you can transfer video. My Samsung SC-D382 was no exception and after hours of searching I have found the solution. It is not the camera that is the problem, it is the fact that Windows has no way of knowing what kind of device it is and therefore cannot do anything with it. Sure you may have the DvDriver, but there is no way for windows to know if it is a camcorder, or a webcam, or any other device that relies heavily on FireWire. Therefore, Microsoft (NasdaqGS:MSFT) has released a fix for that only available to computers that have passed the Genuine Advantage test. If your computer is not genuine, I cannot help you any further for the bugfix. Anyways, you go to this link that will be posted at the end of this post. You download a Genuine Advantage applet, once verified, you will get a code, copy and paste the code to the area on the page where it says to enter the code and continue. Then you can download, Install, restart your computer, and voila! Now your camera will work!
